Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Hooray3D ("we", "us"). They cover your use of hooray3d.com (the "service"). By using the service you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. Contact: support@hooray3d.com.

1. Who can use Hooray3D

You must be 18 or older. If you use Hooray3D for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

2. What the service does

You upload a photo or picture, and AI models turn it into a 3D model. Hooray3D is a digital service: what you buy is delivered online, straight away after payment.

The AI models we use. We run these models through fal.ai, and each one is named next to its quality tier in the app:

• SAM 3D (by Meta);
• Rodin Gen-2.5 (by Deemos);
• TRELLIS and TRELLIS 2 (by Microsoft);
• Moondream, to describe your photo.

Uploads, any text you enter and the results are checked by SeeAPI. Our Privacy Policy says where each part of the service runs. These providers affect the quality and availability of results.

AI results vary. A model may not match your photo, and it may need repair, scaling or supports before it prints well. Check every file in your slicer before you print. We are not responsible for failed prints, printer damage or material costs.

3. Free previews

• You can make 2 free previews a day without an account. One of them can use the Standard quality.
• Free previews can be viewed online only. Downloading them, or using them in any other way, is not included.
• Free previews are deleted after 7 days.

4. Accounts

Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us straight away at support@hooray3d.com if you think someone else has used it. One person, one account. Using several accounts to get extra free previews is not allowed.

5. Plans, credits and payment

• Credit Pack: $12.90 once, for 100 credits that never expire. Each purchase is a one-time payment you authorize at checkout.
• Starter: $9.90 a month, or $94.80 a year. It gives 100 credits every month.
• Pro: $19.90 a month, or $190.80 a year. It gives 250 credits every month, High detail quality, and up to 3 models at the same time.
• Team: $49.90 a month, or $478.80 a year, for up to 3 people. It gives 600 credits every month. For now we set teams up by hand: email support@hooray3d.com, and we create an account for each person and split the credits between them.
• Plan credits: unused credits from a plan expire at the end of each month and don't carry over. Plan credits are used before Credit Pack credits. You can have one plan at a time.
• What credits are for: making models.
  • Quick is free. Standard uses 2 credits, a figurine from a photo 3, Detailed 6 and High detail 8 (a High detail figurine 9).
  • We show the cost before you generate.
• Failed generations: if a generation fails for a technical reason, its credits are returned automatically.
• Downloads never use credits.
• Who you pay: payments are processed by our merchant of record, Waffo Pancake (Waffo.com Limited), or by Creem.
  • Their checkout terms also apply.
  • Your card details go to them and are never stored by us.
  • Prices are shown before you pay; taxes are calculated at checkout.
• Recurring payments: when you subscribe to a plan, you authorize us, through our merchant of record, to charge your payment method for each new period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel.
• Cancelling: cancel any time in your account under Settings → Billing → Cancel, or by emailing support@hooray3d.com.
  • Cancelling stops future charges.
  • Your plan and its credits stay active until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Credit Pack credits are not affected.
• Refunds: see the Refund Policy.
• Billing problems: if a charge looks wrong, please email support@hooray3d.com before disputing it with your bank. We reply within 2 business days and fix confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.

Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged for money, except as the Refund Policy says.

6. Downloads, ownership and commercial use

Once you have bought a Credit Pack or a plan, you can download your models as GLB, OBJ and print-ready STL. This includes free previews you made while signed in, for as long as they are kept.

Reliefs, outlines and cookie cutters made with the relief maker are free to make and download, with no account. They are made in your browser from your picture, and the rest of this section applies to them too.

How long models are kept: models you make with credits are kept while your plan is active, and for 30 days after it ends. Without a plan, they are kept for 12 months after you make them. We email you at least 7 days before we delete one, so you can download it. The Privacy Policy lists how long we keep everything else.

As between you and us, you own the models you download, and you may use them for personal and commercial purposes, including selling prints. This only applies if you own, or have permission to use, the photo you uploaded and anything shown in it.

7. Your content

• You keep your rights to the photos you upload. You give us a limited permission to process them only to provide the service: store them, send them to our model and moderation providers, and show you the results.
• We don't use your photos or models to train AI models.
• You confirm that you have the right to use every photo you upload. If it shows a real person, they must have agreed. We don't accept photos of public figures or celebrities, and only a parent or guardian may upload a photo of a child.

8. Content rules

You must follow the Content Rules. We check text, uploads and results automatically, and we may:

• refuse a generation;
• remove content;
• suspend or close accounts that break the rules.

If we refuse a generation because of these checks, no credits or free previews are used.

9. Things you must not do

Do not:

• break the law, or card network rules;
• try to get around limits, payments or our checks;
• overload or attack the service;
• scrape it, or resell access to it;
• use its inputs or outputs to train, fine-tune or benchmark an AI model that competes with Hooray3D.

10. Changes and availability

We may change, pause or stop parts of the service. If we stop a paid plan, we will refund the unused part of your current period.

We will email account holders about material changes to these terms at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

11. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows:

• we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses;
• our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country, or liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Ending

You can stop using Hooray3D, and ask us to delete your account, at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close your account for a reason other than a breach, we refund any unused prepaid period. Sections 6, 7, 11, 12 and 13 continue after the agreement ends.
