Content Rules (Acceptable Use Policy)

What you may not upload or make with Hooray3D, how uploads are checked, and what happens when something breaks the rules.

Last updated: 2026-10-08

These rules apply to every photo you upload, every piece of text you enter and every model you make with Hooray3D. They are part of our Terms of Service.

Absolutely prohibited

These are never allowed, and we act on them immediately:

  • child sexual abuse material, or any sexualized content involving minors;
  • terrorism and violent extremism, including propaganda and instructions;
  • weapons of mass destruction: biological, chemical, nuclear or radiological;
  • non-consensual intimate imagery or deepfakes of real people.

Not allowed

  1. Sexual content. Nudity, sexual acts or sexualized images of anyone, including drawings and figurines.
  2. Violence and gore. Graphic injury, death or cruelty, and anything that promotes violence or terrorism.
  3. Hate. Content that attacks or demeans people for their race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation, including hate symbols used to promote hate.
  4. Anything that endangers children. Any sexual or exploitative content involving minors. We report it to the authorities. Only a parent or guardian may upload a photo of a child, and never in a sexual or harmful context.
  5. Deepfakes and impersonation. Models or figurines of a real person without their consent, of public figures or celebrities, or anything made to deceive people about who someone is or what they did.
  6. Infringement. Photos, characters, logos or designs you don't have the right to use, such as someone else's artwork, or a brand's character you plan to sell prints of.

Also not allowed:

  • weapons or parts designed to injure, such as gun parts;
  • anything illegal where you live or where we operate.

How we check

Moderation happens at every stage:

  1. Text you enter is checked against our list of prohibited terms, which we update regularly, and then by SeeAPI.
  2. Photos are checked by SeeAPI before anything is generated.
  3. Results are checked again before you see them.

We keep a record of every check (the verdict, never the image), and people review reports and appeals.

  • If a check refuses your request, nothing is generated and no credits or free previews are used.
  • Automatic checks sometimes make mistakes. If you think a refusal was wrong, email support@hooray3d.com and tell us the time it happened.

What happens if rules are broken

  • Content: we may remove it at any time.
  • Accounts: for serious or repeated breaches we may suspend or close the account, without a refund for credits used to break the rules.
  • Child safety: content that endangers children is reported to the relevant authorities.

Report something

Models made on Hooray3D are private to the person who made them. If you believe someone used Hooray3D to break these rules (for example to make a model of you without your consent), email support@hooray3d.com. Tell us:

  • what was made, and where you saw it (for example a listing selling prints of it);
  • any details that help us find it, such as the account email or the date;
  • why it breaks the rules.

How fast we act on reports:

  • reports involving the safety of children: within 24 hours;
  • everything else: within 3 business days.

We take down content that breaks the rules. Copyright complaints follow the Copyright and DMCA process.
